What are your thoughts on the occupy wall street movement ?

Q. It is said that this generation is full of unique and creative thought. I would disagree seeing as how this generation has not produced any significant advances in science mathematics or even literature. in fact this is perhaps the most despicable generation in the history of America. you protest big corporations and their greed yet you use their products in your day to day lives how can you protest these corporations yet you buy their products and in turn increase their profits. It is as if you were to hunt a beast out if hate, catch and then build an altar to praise it. I could write a thesis about how stupid and ridiculous you people are instead I would rather just read your comments. Don't tell me about lasik eye surgery, advances in HIV retro therapy. By "by significant scientific advances" I am referring to something as proportional as E=MC squared, the nuclear bomb, flight. These men had virtually nothing to reference yet created wonders. Einstein, the wright brothers. I believe that you're all a bunch of babbling fools looking for purpose incapable finding that you join the closest most ridiculous rally that you can attend. I predict that 9 out 10 of you will produce a completely irrelevant and highly idiotic response.
I do realisation that I made a few grammatical mistakes.
America asked for this. In fact, the people jumped for when they elected Bush and then again they jumped for joy when they elected Obama. Is this not what they wanted?
*joy*
Realise* I blame this on the auto fill feature.

A. Most of them are the most entitled Americans ever. If I didn't love my country as much as I do, I would pray that they get the socialistic government they want so badly. They think camping out in the cold is bad, try living in the cold all your life, eating nothing but raw potatoes, trying to go to sleep fearing that some government goons will shoot you in your sleep because you dare to speak against them.

I agree with you 100%

is there anyway to bring down my eye-prescription naturally?
Q. I an 19 years old and my eye prescription keeps going up every year. It is currently at 7.5 and I don't know what to do, my family has a history of bad eyes. My family members have both astigmatism and glaucoma. What should I do besides eye surgery since the doctor said I am not old enough for it yet.
Did your eye prescription change after the surgery, and how are your eyes doing now?

A. Yes, it's possible to improve eyesight naturally because my prescrption was almost -4 and so far I've reduced to less than -2 and I'm not stopping there. I'm using a method I found in a book which includes both exercises and a correct use of glasses (i.e. undercorrections ). I'm doing it by myself and I didn't spend anything other than the money to buy the book, because I already had undercorrections which were my old and weaker glasses . These natural methods require time and patience and I'm sure most people wouldn't endure them for more than a month. Nowadays people want everything immediately and with no effort. Unfortunately these methods are not considered by eye-doctors except behavioural optometrists. Most doctors will always tell you that if these things worked, nobody would wear glasses. Nice reasoning... As I said these things take too much time (months when a prescription is moderate and much longer for higher prescriptions). However I decided that it was worth it and I do not regret all the time I'm spending doing that. Unfortunately I can't really help you, because if I told you what book I used I would immediately lose my credibility. Sadly Yahoo Answers is sometimes improperly used to advertise products and that's absolutely not my intention because I'm just the buyer of that book and I'm in no way associated with the author or the publisher. Moreover in this section there are always many angry users (opticians, optometrists and ophtalmologists) who speak of these methods with contempt ("these mehotds never work ! They are a scam !", "They want just to steal your money !").
These people are partly right because if you search the web you'll find many natural methods which promise miracle. That's exactly the point: whenever they tell you about a method that can greatly improve your eyesight in a short time and with a little effort, then it's definitely a scam. Nothing can greatly improve your eyesight in a month and without at least some effort. Avoid expensive methods because there's no reason to spend a lot of money. I spent just $12 and I found not only the description of the exercises but also many scientific explanations regarding nearsightedness and its causes, how the eye works, and so on.

Why do people think I'm an Atheist for being open to reasoning and liking science?
Q. I'm a pantheist, actually, and I feel very close to God as I believe him to be.
Muslims in history were the ones that came up with all these great scientific achievements that paved the road to the Renaissance. Even eye surgery.
How hard is to believe somebody can be religious and open to science and even loving of science?
Republicans of America are a hardcore Christian group who use science to argue their side of pro-life. And whether you're pro-choice or not, it's not a bad argument: life does start from those little seeds, unless you're willing to forget everything they taught you in sex ed. Fascinating.
But anyhow, I just don't get it...
Quit trying to brainwash me, hippie.

A. By saying the rosary carefully every day, a person can know for certain God exists as Infinite Living Love and the Catholic Faith is the True Faith.

http://www.sancta.org/rosary/how.html

The fifteen promises of Mary to Christians who recite the rosary:
1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary shall receive signal graces.
2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.
3. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against Hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.
4. It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities and will lead them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.
5. The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.
6. Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries, shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just, he shall remain in the grace of God and become worthy of eternal life.
7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the Sacraments of the Church.
8. Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plenitude of His graces; at the moment of death, they shall participate in the merits of the saints in Paradise.
9. I shall deliver from Purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.
10. The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in Heaven.
11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.
12. All those who propagate the Holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.
13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire Celestial Court during their life and at the hour of death.
14. All who recite the Rosary are my sons, and brothers of my only Son, Jesus Christ.
15. Devotion to my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

Am I too young for laser eye surgery? Is it safe to do these days?
Q. In a couple of weeks I am going to be 20. I want laser eye surgery more then anything!

A. You are not too young. The important factor here is the stability of your eye. Your prescription has to be the same for at least two years before you can have this surgery. So, if you've been regular at getting eye exams then check your prescription history, if is has been the same in the last couple of years, you are ready.
Good Luck!
