Who has had lasik surgery at Filutowski in Orlando, Fla.?

WHO did the surgery and what were the results? Do you recommend or not? ANY info is greatly appreciated.
Michele M., the Altamonte Lasik Instittue...is that Dr. Jeffrie Robins? If so, I went there several months ago and they gave me a song & dance how they couldn't help me becuase i have flat corneas. Filutowski office said they have technology that CAN help me, no big deal about my flat corneas and they don't know why Robin's office said that. Any imput from you? Please advise me. Thanks so much.

I've heard they were very expensive compared to others. I had mine done at the Lasik Vision Institute in Altamonte. I got the very basic $299 per eye special about 2 years ago and I've been thrilled with the results - 20/20 vision and no problems whatsoever. They have 'upgrades' also, which of course cost more (which they definitely tried to talk me into), but I'll bet they still cost way less than any quote you got from Filutowski. My husband had his done at LVI a couple of years before I did, and he's been pleased with the results also. Keep in mind that great advances have taken place with these surgeries in the last 10 years, and you don't have to go to the most expensive place to get a good result.

I hate wearing glasses, cant get contacts and looking for Laser/ lasik eye surgery in orlando florida, im 13, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me!!!!! thanks in advance ;)

At the age of 13 your eyes are growing. They are going to continue to grow through your teens and beyond. It would be a very bad idea to get LASIK (even in the unlikely event that you found someone who would perform the surgery). You would spend thousands of dollars on LASIK today and a year from now you will probably need glasses again. Surgeons usually require that your prescriptions has stabilized for a few years before offering corrective surgery.
Contact lenses are your best bet right now.
