Would LASIK resolve or worsen Dry Eye problem?
Q. My eyes are getting drier after wearing contact lense for 15 yrs. I couldn't wear contact lense comfortably for long hours & have to apply lubricant eye drops constantly. I'm 36 yrs old residing in Malaysia. Would LASIK resolve or worsen dry eye problem?

A. it's unlikely to resolve it

dry eyes is one of the known (and ocacsionally permanent) side effects of laser eye surgery; if you have an existing condition, i don't think this would help

is this a good reason going the marin corps?
Q. Ok my dream is to go to southeast Asia's, thailand,Cambodia, Myanmar
,Malaysia, and Laos so i can train as a fighter and learn different martial arts, so i can open up my own dojo in Tennessee.I also want to use the money for lasik leaser eye surgery.
I was just wondering will the marines make me physically and mentally tough, does the marines have in martial arts besides mmap
and what the shortest term i can Sign if i decide to join
lol wow its crazy when you ask a qustion and everybody judgeing you.lol i mean i just wanting some answer, you'll don't know shit about me and don't know were i come and been though so who are
what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i love the u.s.a and just wanted to see some other benfits. thats why i ask about martial arts, sports begin mentally and physically stronger wtf you think this about
yea i wanted a short term, that cause i have a god daughter to take of.
Im sorry that im only 18 and a single father and wanted to start my career and support my family at the same time with little to no support. What make it so crazy is im a sissy but you probably never been 3rd in state in wrestle, go to thailand and compete in a mauy thai tournament, finish with a broken Collier bone and haven all your dreams set aside just to Support your god daughter. Im way better than a marion im street surviver and a warrior and you just a marine who spend all his time talking shit on yahoo answer level 4 lol wtf lame

A. I agree with the Gunnery Sergeant. It is not, what the Marine Corps has to offer you, it is what do you have to offer the Marine Corps? Make a video of yourself asking the recruiter that and post it on YouTube so I can laugh. Entitlement is one thing the Marine Corps will never give you. The only thing they will give you is the opportunity to advance yourself, if you can make it.

I passed four other recruiting offices for other branches before I ended up in the Marine Corps Recruiters office, That was not accidental or coincidence. I wanted to be challenged, I wanted to be shaped and formed into a descent person. And I wanted to be part of what so many others wanted to be, but couldn't.

As far as not knowing **** about you. I know one thing, You need the Marine Corps more than the Marine Corps needs you. They will sort your a** out. Just delete the words I, ME, MYSELF before you head down to the Recruiting Station.

Should Malaysia join in the race for space exploration?
Q.

A. Other than US, lot more countries like Japan,Russia, India, China, and South Korea are now involed in space research . Malaysia should surely join the race if its economy allows it to reap the fruits of such an exploration.

Benifits from space exploration are as follows:
The knowledge gained from the exploration of space fuels science and discovery, creates innovative technology, stimulates education, spurs medical advancements, supports a robust economy, improves our quality of life and contributes to a safer environment. More than 1,500 documented products have been derived from space technology, including fire-resistant materials, enhanced weather-forecasting tools and miniaturized medical devices such as an insulin pump and the DeBakey Heart Pump.

Facts to Consider

Technology - During the past 30 years, space program technology has resulted in more than 1,500 commercial products, including rain water purification systems for developing countries, satellite radio, digital and satellite television, cell phone technology, cordless tools, and GPS navigation in the family car, boat and even on the family farm.

Innovation - A survey of 146 senior executives by Christian & Timbers in 2004 found that 69% agreed with a prediction that the Vision for Space Exploration would drive new technology and boost venture capital markets.

Medical - Digital hearing aids, miniature heart pumps, cancer detection devices, common smoke detectors, fire-resistant aircraft seats, safety grooving on roads, LASIK eye surgery, humanitarian demining devices, and numerous other medical and safety devices and improvements trace their origins to space technology.

Economy - Just 15 firms that received an initial $64 million in NASA life sciences research and added $200 million of their own money created a $1.5 billion return on investment in the form of sold commercial goods and services during 25 years (Space Policy Institute at George Washington University).

Environment - We have learned more about our home planet and how best to preserve and protect it due to improved software and imaging developed from the space program. Space technology is responsible for rainwater purification systems for developing countries and numerous environmentally friendly products.

Is the investment worth it?

Space exploration should not be viewed as an expense, but rather an investment. NASAs annual budget is less than 1% of the total annual federal budget, or about 15 cents per day for the average citizen. Space technology advances have created countless industries, spawned millions of jobs and generated billions of dollars into the economy.
