i live in nyc, dont have insurance and i need dental sugery asap for very painful impacted wisdom tooth. help!

Q. i have had one removed 5 years ago but this one just started coming out. im not working only a college student and dont have $ for expensive surgery..... :(

A. Dental surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her dental implants and Lasik surgery in India by a company called Indian Health Guru Consultants. The Price for dental and Lasik surgery is very less in India. She paid 25% of the price she was quoted in America.

Indian Health Guru Consultants is very famous in India They arrange Dental surgery, jaw surgery, Lasik eye surgery, Dental Implants etc for foreign patients in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines- about their patient stories.
They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low cost, as dental and eye surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

Lasik Surgery?
Q. I want to have laser surgery - Custom Lasik on my eyes. What is the difference between Custom Lasik and no blade technology?
How to find reliable surgon in NYC- northern jersey area? How much does it cost?

A. No blade technology means the laser, not a blade, is used to cut the flap. Using the laser for the cut decreases risk and virtually eliminates surgical complications due to flap.

Custom LASIK means that your eye aberrations are measured and the laser treatment is customized to correct your individual aberrations. You can have Custom LASIK with no blade or with a blade.

Ask your regular eye doctor to recommend a surgeon. Your eye doctor sees many people who have had LASIK done and with different surgeons so he/she will know which surgeons are better at following up complications. Cost varies with surgeon; expect to pay more for the better surgeons with more up to date equipment.

Are contacts giving me an infection? I want to try lasik but Im scared?
Q. Today I woke up with my eye really red and kind of irritated. I looked at myself in the mirror and the cornea was inflated. I wear weekly disposable contact lens and I think that might be the cause. I have been wanting to get Lasik but I'm scared that something may wrong. I heard of people losing their eye site and other that after surgery had to deal with ridiculous cost because of complication after surgery. Have any of you guys have had the surgery done? and how long was the recovery process? If I tighten my panties and decide to go for it, Can you recommend a good doctor in the NYC area?

A. My mom had Lasik, and she says it was fantastic.
She saw everything blurry before..
and she says it was only a small red laser that you had to look at on each eye for about 3 minutes.
then they put like, these drops on your eyes.

The only negative is that your eyes are horribly itchy afterword.

The recovery process was less than 1 week!
