i live in nyc, dont have insurance and i need dental sugery asap for very painful impacted wisdom tooth. help!

Are contacts giving me an infection? I want to try lasik but Im scared?
Q. Today I woke up with my eye really red and kind of irritated. I looked at myself in the mirror and the cornea was inflated. I wear weekly disposable contact lens and I think that might be the cause. I have been wanting to get Lasik but I'm scared that something may wrong. I heard of people losing their eye site and other that after surgery had to deal with ridiculous cost because of complication after surgery. Have any of you guys have had the surgery done? and how long was the recovery process? If I tighten my panties and decide to go for it, Can you recommend a good doctor in the NYC area?
A. My mom had Lasik, and she says it was fantastic.
She saw everything blurry before..
and she says it was only a small red laser that you had to look at on each eye for about 3 minutes.
then they put like, these drops on your eyes.
The only negative is that your eyes are horribly itchy afterword.
The recovery process was less than 1 week!
