What happens then? Do they offer surgery to fix this? I know LASIK isn't 100% safe, so it's never guaranteed success. But ya, just curious if something bad were to ever happen during the surgery, and if so, what is the worst that can happen (is it blindness?) and also if the optometrists offer other free eye surgeries to fix the mistake.

This question is like saying.... if you cut yourself shaving... can you die?
LASIK surgery is so superficial... they're only burning less than 1/2mm into your eye... that's more shallower than your shaving nicks...
But ofcourse, with all surgeries... there are risks... If you get an infection - after the surgery, and you don't see your Doc... then you can lose your eyeball... The surgeon will probably give you a new GLASS EYE - free of charge!!!....

Answer
Dont get lasik there is a high chance of something going wrong. YOU ARE GOING TO GET YOUR CORNEA bombarded by a technology that still wont guarantee any longterm effects.
