What is the cost of Prk Surgery? I got 2030 and 2040 vision and I'm 16 going on 17.

I really wouldn't recommend you doing PRK / LASIK SURGERY. I'd wait three extra years, mainly becuase if your eyes are this bad, they are still getting worse. This is the main reason why you can't get laser until you are 18 years old. There is less involved in the surgical process for PRK patients although their healing takes substantially longer and requires more follow up visits. You should expect to pay anywhere from $3500 to $5000 to have both eyes treated in the DC/VA/MD market. At our practice, the cost for LASIK and PRK is identical. Additionally, some practices have tiered pricing, meaning the lower your prescription, the less you pay.

Hi, I am a student in DC and I am doing my LASIK eye surgery tomorrow and the doctor said I need someone to be with me especially after surgery because I won't be able to see very well afterwards. So, I will need someone to pick me up from home, drive me up to my appointment with the surgeon and wait till I am done (30 minutes) then drive me back home. I prefer a woman, it would be great to have someone with me :)

I have a total of 3 appointment
1- The day of the surgery: Thursday (May 16) 8am
2- Follow-up Appointment: Friday (May 17) 8am
3- Follow-up Appointment: Monday (May 20) 5pm

I live on 43rd place NW DC and my doctor is on King street, VA

I can pay for the gas :)
