Can your eyes get worse when wearing glasses?

I play video games a lot, & when I was young I was always on the computer. If I wear my glasses when I play video games (I am near sighted) is it
Possible for my eyes to still be hurt by the computer/tv screen? Also, how can you restore your vision if it gets really bad?

Your eyes can get worse if you wear your glasses. But it's not because you're using the computer or watching TV, it's because your eyes were going to get worse anyways. Wearing glasses allows you to see better, but it won't make your eyes get worse, nor will they keep your eyes from getting worse.

As far as improving your vision, there's LASIK, and you have to wait until your eyesight stabilized before anyone will do the surgery.

Ive been considering getting it done but i wanna know. how has it improved your life since? how much does it cost? and if you live in colorado whos a good eye surgeon to go to?

Me. I had this last may 20, 2010(3rd friday of may)
Improve my life? yes it improves a lot. Confidence? yes. And it's really bad last time in high school intramurals because I want to wear my glasses during the basketball game but they won't allow me and my eyesight is really bad 700-800.
The surgery is fine 5-10 minute per eye, they'll use a device so you can't blink. The healing process for me was 5 hours.
Here in Philippines it cost 60k or 1500 dollars in US, but I know it's more expensive there.
