bandish188

What conditions can be improved by the surgery ? are their any online questionares to see who can recieve it ?

Answer
Laser eye surgery is for near-sighted people mostly. I had it about 5 years ago. I also had an astigmatism, which it corrected as well.
I don't know where you live, but in my area, there are eye doctors all over the place that do it and you can see if you qualify for free. They even advertise on the radio here.
The name of the surgery I had was "Lasik", so go to yahoo yellow pages and do a search for either that or "laser eye surgery" in your area and I'm sure you'll come up with a list of places that do it. Call one and see if you can come in and see if you qualify. I don't know of any online questionaires, since the doc really has to check out your eyes to be sure.
Enjoy...that surgery is the best thing I've done for myself in a while and I highly recommend it!

how many times do you have to see the opticians
and how long will it last for will your eyes stay the same for how many years and how do you have to put dropes on your eyes. have laser surgery is it painful

ok can someone give me there msn add so i can talk to you about this

Answer
first time to check if your eyes condition is suitable for lasik. Second time to confirm your decision to proceed and the procedure involved.
Third time is to perform the lasik itself
Forth time, a day of the surgery to check your condition
Fifth time, 1 week later, to check your condition
Sixth time, 1 months later to check your condition
After that, it's 6 months later... if nothing goes wrong, then it's confirm smooth success surgery.
I have mine done almost 5 years back. So far, it's still very good.. not 20/20 vision but at least you don't need specs for any day to day activities
Tear drops can be put on the eyes easily but make sure you only used those artificial tear drops and not any simply eye solutions as they may sting your eyes. Other than the first day after the surgery, wher you feel some slight discomfort in your eyes, like there's something stuck inside, there basically no other pain after that... You may have drier eyes though but you can always use tear drops to relieve the dryness
