Questions about lasik surgery in AR/OK?

james_spad
I am in arkansas and would like to get lasik done on both my eyes. I have vacation week after next and (I think) the money to do it. Has anyone had the surgery in either AR or OK and had good results? How much does the surgery cost? Who is the most reasonable, still providing good service? How long will I not be able to see? Any other specail considerations?
THanks,
CC

Blurry vision after one month of LASIK?

Uma R
I went for eye checkup after one month of lasik surgery on 14/3/2007. Now, my right eye is 6/6 vision. Left eye is -0.5. Before lasik both the eyes have -4 power. Still i am seeing blurred vision only. While lubricating with drops i am able to see clear vision. But that is for few seconds only. Dr. told it is because of dry eye. I have done shirmer test also. The dry condition is normal only (25ml).
Now my question is blurred vision is because of dry eye or residual power in my left eye?
Then this residual power will be a constant or will it be a fluctuating power (either decrease or increase)?
Whether this residual power can be reduced by taking vitamin A tablets?
How can i know healing is over or not?
When healing will be over?
can i able to see without blurred vision without glasses?
Kindly answer my questions. I am really disappointed because of blurry vision.
Now i am taking refresh liquigel for one hour. Still i am seeing blurred only. Is it necessary do enhancement treatment.
Answer
Hate to tell you Arkansas but you are way off base. Blurred vision can be caused by dry eye syndrome. There is nothing in the question that indicates that blindness is inevitable. No one but your eye doctor can determine that status. Everyones body heals at it's own pace and only time will tell if the vision clears up.
